Anne & Jon’s love story seems like it is straight off the pages of a good love story, which is only appropriate considering that they met in a NaNoWriMo writing group. (For those not in the know, NaNoWriMo = National Novel Writing Month. It takes place every November, and the participants all try to pen an entire 50k-word novel in 30 days. It’s not for the faint of heart – just ask Mike!) But I digress – that fateful November, Anne & Jon not only finished their novels, but also set off a spark that could not be extinguished. It was a great prologue to their great romance. Despite some obstacles of circumstance, they were meant for each other, and the following November their story really took off. This is a couple full of so much joy and love – it permeated the air with an infectious happiness on their wedding day.
We wandered around Washington Park Arboretum in Seattle for a few hours, with only a handful of family and friends to share the day. When then ceremony rolled around, their family and friends formed a semi-circle around them. It was a day of laughs, love, some happy tears, and a few good hijinx. What could be better than that?
And now, without further ado…
Here’s some of our favorites from their wedding day!
