As you probably know, we’re proud card-carrying members of the Snohomish Wedding Guild (well, we would be if they had membership cards, anyway). Every couple months we get together to talk shop, eat good food, and escape our toddlers. Maybe that last part is just me. We were the featured photographers at the event, which means you get another sneek peak at what we crazy wedding types do when we aren’t at your events.
This meeting was held out at the Snohomish Center, and I highly suggest that any of you out there looking for a good budget venue to check this place out. Technically it’s the Snohomish Senior Center, but really it’s just a super nice building with an attractive exterior, a nice open banquet hall, and a big commercial kitchen attached. AND, it goes for $100 hour which includes tables and chairs!! Seriously guys, check it out.
Hook & Ladder BBQ again delivered some amazing smokey goodness, which went great with the drinks from Pour Girls and Some Guys and Daisy Cakes cupcakes. The Bootstrap Music Company kept us entertained, as did Mike’s joke about Batman that somehow morphed into the running gag of the evening. Of course, what better way to end the evening in a senior center than playing BINGO and raffling off baskets filled with Irish beer in honor of St. Patty’s Day?
Great night, ladies and gents! Looking forward to the next one. :)
