Christina and Greg got married last week on their 17th dating anniversary. As a couple who has been through about half of their lives together, they weren’t focused on sweating the little things. Instead, they had a beautiful and intimate elopement ceremony on a cliff in the Olympic National Forrest on Hurricane Ridge. It was gorgeous! They even had a few animals show up for the festivities. (The deer in the photos started following Christina around – pretty sure it wanted a nibble of her bouquet.)
— And can I just take a minute to point out the fact that the bride had an *actual* sixpence for her shoe. And that the groom’s boutonniere was sculpted METAL! Not to mention the slightly steampunk vibe of Christina’s entire outfit. —
After the ceremony, which was officiated by Greg’s father, it was time to break out the thermoses of coffee and a box of Top Pot donuts that were brought out from Seattle the day before (they even let me have the Pink Feather Boa!! Thanks guys!). The energy surrounding the entire group was that of pure joy. It was such an honor to be a part of it all. And oh, the view….
