Marcy and Tim decided to have an intimate backyard wedding, but wanted to make sure that they documented their big day with some portraits. So, they called me. We decided to meet up at Jennings Park here in Marysville, and were blessed with a beautiful summer day! Marcy’s “something blue” was a stunning tea length…
Some things will never get old, and for this super sentimental photographer, one of those things is getting to do family photos for old wedding clients. Kelsi and Billy were married back in 2014, and we were there to help them capture their special day (see their Lord Hill Farms Wedding here). This winter, just…
Emily and Andy are about to be parents! They’re expecting a baby boy sometime withing the next six weeks or so, though Emily is pretty sure it will be sooner than that. Little Andrew James II is measuring big for his gestational age, and the docs have told Emily to take it easy as her…
Every now and then I meet a kid, and I think to myself: How do you have time to sleep?! Jenny was totally one of those young ladies, in the best of ways possible!
Fall color is one of the best things about the change in seasons. The crisp air moves in, and suddenly all the green gives way to pops of gorgeous yellows, oranges, and reds.
There’s something special about doing your senior photos DURING your senior year in high school.
Madeleine is one tough cookie. At 34 weeks, she came into this world at a whopping 4lbs 3ozs.
This weekend my family came up so that I could take my step-brother’s senior photos. It’s not every session where I get to go help shop for the clothes that they’ll be wearing while I photograph them, so this weekend was a little extra fun. Here’s some of my favorites from the afternoon out at Jenning’s Park. BONUS: I even got him to pose for me the next day while we were out at the tulip fields in Mt. Vernon, and surprised his mom! Woot!
Earlier this week we had a quick glimpse of what spring is always like in the movies. It was rain-free, only mildly chilly, and lots of flowers filled the trees as I drove through town. Of course spring is rarely that wonderful here in the greater Seattle area. Heck – it’s generally miserable throughout most of the Pacific Northwest. But, we had a couple days… so naturally, the photographer in me pounced on the opportunity, and I got everything set up to meet up with Josh for his senior photos. We started off at Jennings Park in Marysville, and then headed into downtown Everett where we were graced with an amazing sunset! Overall, it was a great evening. I wish all guys were as fun to work with!
My baby is two. I suppose that means she’s not technically my baby anymore. But since I’m pretty sure I’ll be calling her my baby girl until she’s old and grey – it is what it is.
