We met Erika and Jared at The 2016 Snohomish Wedding Tour. Erika was about ready to bring a beautiful little girl into the world, and they were somehow dealing with record-setting heat with smiles on their faces. We met again a few months later over dinner, and swapped stories of sleepless nights and other treats of parenthood in between details of their plans for their wedding. They were so easy to chat with (I just love it when that clicks), and I knew that their wedding day was going to be easy going and fun. I wasn’t wrong.
They chose French Creek Manor in Snohomish for the big day. We started out with photos at the bride’s parents’ gorgeous property (oh, what I wouldn’t give for all those beautiful fall colors they had scattered around their yard!). A little drizzle didn’t stop us, and we managed to wrap right as the rain really started in. If that’s not luck, I don’t know what is!! The ceremony was beautiful, the decor was simple and elegant, and there was pie. You can’t go wrong with pie…. especially in pie-pop form! It was a wonderful day, and I’m so thrilled that we were able to be a part of it all.
