There’s a picture floating around the internet right now that says “My favorite color is October.” And really, I have to say that it’s pretty accurate. There’s just something about the leaves changing, and the crispness in the air, that makes fall such a magical time of year. This year, the fall color hasn’t been as easy to find as it usually is. The leaves are taking their time changing, which prolongs this magic, but it means that some of my old standbys for family photos up here in the north end of the Puget Sound just aren’t quite into their splendor.

We’d heard Green Lake was looking great this week, so it was off to Seattle for a fun family session. Thankfully, I knew enough about My Little Ponies and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse to keep their youngest smiling. :) And now, without further ado….
